"Authorization required" — what to do

This error usually means Google needs you to re-authorize Sheet to PDF — most often because we added a new scope, or because you haven't used the add-on in a while.

Fix it (30 seconds)

  1. Close the sidebar
  2. Go to Extensions → Sheet to PDF → Open sidebar again
  3. Google shows the authorization screen — click Continue
  4. Pick your Google account
  5. Review the requested permissions and click Allow
  6. The sidebar opens normally

What permissions are we asking for?

Sheet to PDF uses Google's least-privilege drive.file scope, which is the most restrictive option available. We only see:

We do not have access to:

  2. Find "Sheet to PDF" in the list
  3. Click it → Remove access
  4. Reopen the sidebar in any sheet — you'll re-authorize fresh
