Export or delete your data
Under GDPR (EU) and similar laws, you have the right to access and delete the data we hold on you. Sheet to PDF supports both, self-service.
What data we hold
- Your email — for account identification
- Your plan + subscription status — to determine what features you have access to
- Monthly usage counter — to enforce the quota
- Unlock claim history (Free plan) — for gamification rewards
- Referral relationships — if you referred someone or were referred
- Hosted PDFs (Pro+/Premium only) — when you use the share link feature
- Stripe customer ID — Stripe handles all payment/card data, we just store the ID
We do not store:
- Your Google Doc templates content
- Your Sheet data (we read it just-in-time during generation)
- Generated PDFs (except hosted ones on Pro+/Premium with your explicit action)
- Your card details (Stripe handles these)
Export your data
- Open the sidebar → menu → Account
- Scroll to the bottom → Export my data
- You get a JSON file with everything we hold on you
Or by email: send a request to [email protected] from your account email. We respond within 30 days (typically within 24h).
Delete all your data
- Open the sidebar → menu → Account
- Scroll to the bottom → Delete my account
- Confirm the warning (this can't be undone)
- We immediately wipe your user record, usage counters, hosted PDFs, and referral records
- Backups are wiped within 30 days
If you have an active paid subscription, it's automatically cancelled at the same time.
🚨 This is irreversible. If you have hosted PDFs you want to keep, download them first. After deletion, even we can't recover them.
What we keep (legally required)
- Billing records for completed transactions — kept for up to 10 years per French tax law
- Stripe transaction records on Stripe's side — subject to Stripe's data retention
These records contain billing info only, not generation history.
Other GDPR rights
For requests not covered by self-service (right to rectification, restriction of processing, objection), email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.
